The idea was simple: some of the best beef in America, served with a selection of some of the best wines in the world. Everyone pitched in, and we bought deep, and wide: Pegau, Beucastel, Sine Qua Non, Mouron, Fonseca, d’Yquem, the works, and the red meat, from the aged steaks to the buffalo tartare and elk bourgignon were top notch. A dangerous combination. Thanks BJG for hosting, Casa Greenbaum was the perfect venue. It was a legendary night (not that we won’t try to top it again this year)
